TWIG is about thinking big on a small scale. When you look at a tree, what do you see? Do you see the leaves, the bark, or just the tree as a whole? Whatever you see, it all comes together with twigs. Twigs are the extensions that allow trees to continue their growth. They are part of the main structure, yet able to branch out on their own. So what began as something small and dependent has the potential to grow into something much bigger than itself. Every TWIG is full of potential, just waiting to be cultivated.

My name is Leslee Daugherty, and I am TWIG. Upon earning my degree in graphic design, I went to work for an advertising agency in Dallas, Texas, where I grew from art designer to creative director. Working with clients all across the country, I have had the opportunity to grow my talents and branch out in new directions, unlocking new potential with every twist and turn. Here are a few of the outgrowths that have stemmed from my passion for graphic design:

GRAPHIC DESIGNER – I’ve designed it all: newspaper and magazine ads, point-of-purchase materials, billboards, direct mail and brochures, presentation books and websites. The ad layouts and logos I’ve designed have been seen by millions of people in many of the top U.S. markets.

BROADCAST PRODUCER/DESIGNER – Adding Adobe Affect Effects to my repertoire, I single-handedly introduced my previous employer to MOTION GRAPHICS, taking our creative from static to stunning. Through the incorporation of my motion graphics, our company grew in size, scope and sophistication.

DIRECTOR OF CORPORATE IMAGING – The most important brand any ad agency works on is their own, and I was tasked with keeping ours fresh, unique and inspired. Because our internal imaging efforts were so successful, I was given the responsibility of controlling/restructuring each of our client’s brands, in an effort to separate them from their competitors.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR – Utilizing every aspect of my career thus far, I was given control of an entire creative team, consisting of artists, writers, producers, editors and audio engineers. In this capacity, I travelled across the country directing and producing shoots featuring popular sports figures, auto industry leaders, customer testimonials, as well as aerial and ground location footage. Along with sticking to tight budgets and tighter deadlines, I was able to learn invaluable insight from a host of talented professionals.

Without reflection, there can be no growth, and with all that I’ve learned throughout my career, my passion for graphic design keeps sprouting up, one TWIG connecting my future to my past. TWIG represents a new branch in the careening tree that is my career, and I am happy to be able to grow together with your business.
